Amazing woodblock prints!
My lovely friend ellie found this amazing company's website - Tugboat Printshop - printmakers who hand carve their prints from wood. I love it! I think the wooden blocks are just as nice as the actual prints, and I would purchase all of them providing I wasn't poor. Go on their website and have a gander...now!

a little browse in the past
hello again. Been a while since my last post, and have since moved house, finished uni with a 2.1 (yey!) and generally been a busy bee. I've just been reminiscing by looking at some of my previous uni projects and found these card designs we did for a brief with Tigerprint. I do like them, especially the cake related ones. why does cake come into every aspect of my life?!

Prints for fashion and other stuff.
So here are some pictures from my final major project that are to show the design context of my work. My idea was to produce a range of work that could be applied to a variety of products. Using the magic of Photoshop, I have draped my designs onto suitable products for my designs....I think the bear tee-shirts are my favourite.
sneaky peeky
Well I do apologise once more for my lack of posting! But hurrah I have finished university which means two things: a) I am now supposed to call myself an adult, and b) our end of year exhibition is about to start! I am much more excited about the latter, and here are some pictures of the pre exhibition set up, and a snippet of one of my wallpapers.
The show is on from the 18th-23rd of June - I strongly suggest you get your derriers to Leeds college of Art!

Sophie warden
Another thing that caught my eye at the British Craft Trade fair in Harrogate was the work of Sophie Warden. She had a range of screen prints onto lots of lovely products such as cushions, cards and bags. Her illustrations are very detailed images of birds which are very eye-catching... very up my street! I suggest you go to her website and have a wee look!

muchos triangle love.

hellooo. so to go along with my animal prints I have brought geometrics into the mix, and I think theyve come out ok! The hours spent on photoshop looking at triangles may have made me go slightly cuckoo, but i now have a by-product of wrapping papers, and soon to be fabric samples. woohoo!
